Europe is Getting Cheaper As We Speak

I’m watching with great joy the decline (however slight) of the Euro here in Italy. You can get one for 15% less than you could just this past spring. That’s good news.

Plus, with the bad economy, European prices are holding steady or declining. There are sales. There are discounts on meals. Travel is fun again.

Now the Chicago Tribune is announcing the rapid decline of those awful anti-competitive fuel surcharges as the price of oil delines to a reasonable level.

Vacations have gotten cheaper. But are they cheap enough for you to consider going to Europe if the US economy is as bad as they predict? I mean they’ve had to add a digit to the US Debt clock. That can’t be good.

So, are you going on an overseas vacation this year?
