Toulouse was a stop on this year’s Tour de France. The folks of Toulouse like chowing down on waterfowl, especially the livers, pate and other fatty products of it.

And really, the food is incredibly good in Toulouse. Even if goose isn’t your thing. You can chow down on Saucisses de Toulouse, an herbed sausage, or cassoulet Toulousain, a bean dish like no other bean dish.
Give Toulouse a try. If music is your thing, don’t miss the Toulouse summer festival in July and August when the streets fill with jazz, rock, electro music, new traditional music, waltz and tango.
