Great cities to consider for a girls weekend trip are New York, Miami, and even, if you’re looking at more far-off destinations, Paris or London.
• Are you and your girlfriends looking for a relaxing way to forget real life? Do you all work too hard and just want to be pampered for a few days? Then book your girls weekend in a spa resort and let someone else cater to your every whim. Many spa resorts offer condo rentals so you can all stay in the same space rather than booking several hotel rooms, and many are also all-inclusive (it helps you stick to your travel budget if you know exactly how much it’ll cost beforehand!). Just be sure to note which spa treatments are included in the price, and which ones will cost extra.
• Do you and your friends prefer long hikes through the woods to long lines at the store? Is the sound of crickets chirping at night music to your ears? Are you more interested in really getting away from civilization? Perhaps the vacation rentals that will be most appealing to you and your friends, then, are things like a log cabin in the mountains, a secluded beachside house or a cottage on a lake. When what you’re after is wilderness, peace and quiet, a vacation rental is ideal. And even if there’s a TV available, you won’t need it - you’ll be up all night talking with your friends anyway, right?
